My name is Lukas. I run Noncoerced.
Noncoerced started as a personal project and, in many ways, it still feels like one. It was never planned as a brand or a business. It began as a way to turn thoughts, influences, and observations into something tangible. From time to time, it still surprises me when those ideas turn into sales.
Before Noncoerced, I spent years trying to follow a more conventional path. At the same time, I was sketching, writing, and experimenting on my own – mostly without an audience. Over time, those ideas slowly turned into physical pieces, first shared with friends and later with a small group of people who connected with them.
Living abroad in different countries and on different continents shifted my perspective on many things – what I value, how I want to work, and what feels worth putting into the world. Noncoerced grew out of that shift.
Today, the project is built slowly: small releases, limited pieces, and a direct connection with the people who wear them. The clothes are produced here in Bali by Wayan, my local tailor, in small quantities and with real attention to detail. She’s the best.
Noncoerced isn’t built around trends or hype. It’s simply work I care about – created with intention and shared with people who resonate with it.
Noncoerced is fashion shaped by the way we live: unforced, guided by our own instincts, and less defined by expectations or social pressure. It’s for those who choose their own direction.
That’s it. No big vision. Just work done properly.
